Jesus Paid It All

Jesus paid it all. He became our sin and bore our punishment on the cross that we might have a right relationship with Him and eternal life. That is the ultimate love. We are all called to do God's will and to live a life that glorifies Christ. Everyone has a purpose and a part in God's plan. If you didn't, you wouldn't exist.
No two people are the same nor do they serve the same purpose. Each of us have a calling. Some are called to ministry. Some are called to foreign missions. Some are called to ministries such as adoption, BUT we are ALL called to spread the word of God and make disciples. (Matthew 28:19-20)
A life obedient to God is not always an easy life. We are all going through something, and we should still be glorifying God. Even in the trials, praise Him. He is working in your life and molding you into the person He desires you to be. Be obedient to God and trust Him. His plan is perfect and beautiful. You honor and glorify Him through your obedience, prayer life and faith.
Prayer is our important direct line to God. It allows us to humble ourselves before Him, to pour out our hearts and bear our innermost selves to God. It's not that we have to tell Him for Him to know. He knows our hearts and needs better than we do ourselves. Prayer is about God's people coming to Him and humbling before Him and submitting to His will. It is about putting your faith in God and knowing that He will take care of you.
Our prayer is that our family always glorify God through our lives. We pray for the wisdom and knowledge to do God's will and glorify Him through our actions and words. We know that if He calls us to it, He will make a way and provide a means. We feel so humbled that even after paying the ultimate price for us and saving us, that He still continues to bless. That is God's love for us all, and we pray that we are able to show God's love to rest of the world. To God be all the glory.

Six Years of Blessings and Counting!

Today my husband Michael and I celebrate six beautiful years of marriage. We have been blessed so much through these years. Our two sweetest blessings are our sweet boys. They are amazing, beautiful, loving, and unique. They are sunshine on cloudy days. When we started out six years ago, we never pictured how blessed we would be, nor that one day we would be on this adoption journey. That's the wonderful thing about trusting God's plan: You never know where the wonderful journey will take you. I do know that I look forward to it as long as God leads and I can travel it with my best friend, our precious babies and the rest of our family. :)
